Terms of Service
These Terms of Service govern your use of tuftncraft.shop and purchases of products, workshops and related services from Tuft & Craft. By using the website or placing an order, you agree to these terms.
Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any consumer guarantee, right or remedy that cannot lawfully be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law.
1. About us
Tuft & Craft operates an online tufting-supplies store and a creative workshop studio at Shop 1, 49 Regent Street, Chippendale NSW 2008, Australia.

2. Website use
You must use the website lawfully and must not interfere with its security, operation or availability. You must not use the website to transmit malicious code, attempt unauthorised access, scrape content in a way that disrupts the service, or infringe another person's rights.
We may restrict access where reasonably necessary to protect customers, the website or our business.
3. Product and service information
We aim to present product, workshop, price, availability and image information accurately. Screen settings, lighting and natural material variation may affect how colours and textures appear.
We may correct genuine errors or omissions. If a material error affects an order already placed, we will contact you and provide an appropriate option, which may include confirming the corrected order or receiving a refund.
4. Orders and acceptance
An order is an offer to purchase. We may decline or cancel an order before fulfilment where reasonably necessary, including for unavailable stock, an obvious pricing error, suspected fraud, payment failure, delivery restrictions or a breach of these terms.
If we cancel an order after payment, we will refund the amount paid for the cancelled item or service unless the law permits another remedy agreed with you.
5. Prices and payment
Prices are shown in Australian dollars unless stated otherwise. Applicable taxes, delivery charges and discounts are displayed before checkout where relevant.
Payment is processed through the methods made available at checkout. You confirm that you are authorised to use the selected payment method and that the information supplied is accurate.
6. Workshops and bookings
Workshop availability is subject to the date, time, capacity and session details shown at booking. Participants must follow reasonable safety instructions and use studio tools and equipment only as directed by Tuft & Craft staff.
Children may attend only where the workshop listing permits it and any required parent or guardian supervision is provided.
Workshop cancellations, refunds and rescheduling are governed by the Refund, Returns & Workshop Cancellation Policy. Requests made at least 24 hours before the scheduled start time may be refunded or rescheduled. Requests made within 24 hours and non-attendance are not eligible for a change-of-mind refund or reschedule, subject always to rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Gift vouchers
Gift vouchers may be used only in accordance with the conditions stated when they are purchased or issued. They are not redeemable for cash except where required by law. Lost, stolen or incorrectly supplied voucher details should be reported promptly.
8. Shipping, collection and risk
Processing, delivery and collection are governed by the Shipping & Collection Policy. Physical product orders are normally dispatched within 3–7 business days after confirmed payment.
Risk in physical goods passes in accordance with applicable law. Nothing in these terms limits our responsibility for goods that are lost or damaged where responsibility remains with us under the Australian Consumer Law or another applicable law.
9. Returns, refunds and consumer guarantees
Eligible unused physical products may be returned for change of mind within 30 days after delivery, with return postage paid by the customer. Additional conditions and exclusions are set out in the Refund, Returns & Workshop Cancellation Policy.
The voluntary 30-day change-of-mind policy is separate from statutory rights. Goods and services come with consumer guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Depending on the circumstances, a failure to meet a consumer guarantee may entitle a customer to repair, replacement, refund, cancellation or compensation.
10. Tufting tools and safety
Tufting guns, trimmers, adhesives and related tools must be used in accordance with their instructions, age recommendations and safety requirements. Wear suitable protective equipment where recommended and keep tools away from children unless directly supervised in an appropriate setting.
Nothing in this section excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
11. Intellectual property
The website and its original content, branding, text, graphics, photographs, illustrations, videos, designs and software are owned by or licensed to Tuft & Craft and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.
You may access the website for personal, non-commercial shopping and information purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute, sell, modify or commercially exploit protected content without permission, except as allowed by law.
Customers remain responsible for ensuring that designs or images they ask us to reproduce or assist with do not infringe another person's copyright, trade mark, privacy or other rights.
12. Reviews and user content
If you submit a review, photograph, design or other content for publication, you confirm that you have the right to provide it and that it is not unlawful, misleading, defamatory or infringing.
You grant Tuft & Craft a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, reproduce and display content you intentionally submit for publication in connection with our business and marketing. This does not transfer ownership of your original content.
13. Third-party services and links
The website may use or link to third-party services, including Shopify, payment providers, booking tools, delivery carriers and social platforms. Their separate terms and privacy practices may apply when you use their services.
We are not responsible for third-party content or services outside our reasonable control, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.
14. Availability and changes
We may update, suspend or change parts of the website, product range, workshop schedule or these terms. Changes apply from the date they are posted and do not remove rights that have already arisen under an existing order or applicable law.
15. Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Tuft & Craft is not liable for indirect or consequential loss that was not reasonably foreseeable and was not caused by our breach, negligence or failure to comply with a non-excludable obligation.
Where the law permits a remedy to be limited, our liability will be limited only to the extent that limitation is fair, reasonable and legally permitted. Nothing in these terms excludes liability for fraud, wilful misconduct, personal injury caused by negligence, or any consumer guarantee or other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
16. Indemnity
To the extent permitted by law, you are responsible for reasonably foreseeable loss caused by your unlawful use of the website, your material breach of these terms or content you submit that infringes another person's rights. This section does not require you to indemnify us for loss caused by our own negligence, breach or unlawful conduct.
17. Severability
If a provision of these terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, it will be read down to the minimum extent necessary or removed, and the remaining provisions will continue to operate.
18. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. The parties submit to the courts and tribunals that have jurisdiction in New South Wales, subject to any rights a consumer has to bring a claim elsewhere under applicable law.
